Hey guys, how's life treating y'all?

Just a quick note to say I'm aware I've not been as active as I used to be these past couple of weeks. My little sister's getting ready for University (So proud of her! She's much more intelligent than I am) and so I've been pulling double, sometimes triple, shifts at my job to help her with getting essentials, books and the like. The longest days I do are 13 and a half hours, so I don't have a lot of time to draw/write/generally be a nuisance.

So I'm sorry if I'm not around as much for a while. I'll still upload when I can

Ok, so for those that know me personally, you probably know I have quite vivid and often weird dreams.

I'm used to it, but last night I had one that both confused and scared me, I just wanted to write it down.

I never remember how my dreams start, but this one had someone stood in the middle of my town centre. He had hair that was probably blonde once upon a time, but was now faded, he looked like he was searching for something. Every time I looked back at him he was in a different place and right at the end he wasn't a person anymore, he was this big screeching thing with dark eyes and a bloodied mouth. I remember there was a child crying in the distance.

I dunno, it just really freaked me out, especially since as I was super disorientated and couldn't recognise my own room for a few minutes.

This has no real point on DA I know, I just needed to write it down. Sorry guys.

Ok, finally kicking myself in gear to start writing my first story.
I don't mean fanfics, because let's face it, I've done a buttload of those. No I mean an original piece of fictional narrative It's working title is 'The Obsidian Mirror' but that may change as the writing process goes on

I've intended this to be a fanatsy/action adventure but with a humorous tone in contrast to the darker elements of the plot. And when I say humorous, I mean of course, "Chip's Stupid Sense of Funny"

I've written 12 pages so far. I know it doesn't seem like very much but this story has been in my head for the best part of 4 years and I have about 90% of the plot sorted, it's just getting it into words that's gonna be a little tricky. It's going to be a huge personal project for me but I hope it won't get in the way of my art updates (I can hear you all groaning in disappointment from here )

So yeah, that's my not very exciting announcement Hope you all have a nice week x

Ok, I've introduced my friend to quite a few fandoms over the time we've known each other (Sherlock, Once Upon a Time, Supernatural etc. etc.) and usually it ends with her being utterly devastated with all the horrible things that happen, because I'm cruel apparently XD Her nickname for me is 'The Bitchy Feels Cannon' a title I try to live up to. Without the bitchiness of course, I try not to help that.

Now today she shows me an old rock opera called 'The Passion of Persephone'; which reads like a horrible erotic fanfiction with Greek mythology thrown in for good measure. I was left gaping at the screen with nothing but her trollgrin and an empty soul.

This must be what Karma feels like.
